"THE KATE INSIDE" SHOW FINALLY AT WALL OF SOUND!
We're ready to roll again! Guido Harari's The Kate Inside exhibition is finally coming to Wall Of Sound Gallery, where the limited edition book project took off two years ago. The show will be essentially the same as exhibited last September in London, at the Art Bermondsey Project Space. It will feature a selection of Guido's classic and unseen photographs of Kate Bush during their collaboration between 1982 and 1993. These photos are all featured in Guido's The Kate Inside limited edition book which will be available for purchase at the gallery.
The opening is scheduled for Saturday February 11, 3:30pm, and the show will run until March 26. It will be another great opportunity to appreciate Guido's big prints, browse the limited edition book, check the show catalogue, the beautiful signed/numbered posters and the special print set. Guido will be delighted to welcome you and have a chat.
Lindsay Kemp, who co-signed the Deluxe edition of the book and joined us for the London opening, will be touring Spain, so he won't be able to attend the new opening. But we are working on a special event with him sometime in March. We will keep you posted on this.
GOODBYE LEONARD COHEN.
Just three weeks after the release of his 14th album You Want It Darker, the great Canadian poet and singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen suddenly passed away. He was 82. Since the 50's Cohen published a great deal of poetry books and novels. It was only in 1967 that he launched a music career at age 33. Among his most famous and most covered songs are Bird on the Wire, Suzanne, Famous Blue Raincoat, Chelsea Hotel #2, and Hallelujah. He was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He was a Companion of the Order of Canada, the nation's highest civilian honor. In 2011, Cohen received one of the Prince of Asturias Awards for literature and the ninth Glenn Gould Prize.
