GOODBYE BOBBY WOMACK.
Goodbye to soul legend Bobby Womack. Here's a couple of his most famous portraits taken in 1981 by the one and only Norman Seeff.
"KATE BUSH" EXHIBITION BY MANKOWITZ AND HARARI.
Fever is getting higher and higher for the countdown to the first live performances by Kate Bush in 35 years. The 22 concerts at London's Eventim Apollo sold out within 15 minutes! Wall Of Sound Gallery celebrates this unique artist with a very special show of photographs by Gered Mankowitz and Guido Harari. Mankowitz, whose iconic Hendrix photographs we exhibited in 2012, worked with Kate right at the beginning of her career between 1978 and 1979. Gered's images are big time favorites among KB fans since they appeared on the Kick Inside and Lionheart album covers. Guido Harari did collaborate with Kate between 1982 and 1993, shooting her press & promo photos for the Hounds Of Love, The Sensual World and Red Shoes albums. He also photographed extensively on the set of her film The Line, The Cross & The Curve. Several of these images are being exhibited for the very first time. The show will run from June 14 to September 7.
10 YEARS WITHOUT RAY CHARLES.
It's been already 10 years since Ray Charles passed away! We remember "The Genius" with one of his most iconic photographs, taken by Norman Seeff. This image fittingly dons the cover of Charles' very last album Genius Loves Company and is available as a signed/numbered fine art edition.
