To celebrate the Biggest Comeback of the Year – Kate Bush‘s 22 sold out concerts at London’s Eventim Apollo – we’re delighted to exhibit a fine selection of historic images by Gered Mankowitz and Guido Harari. Both photographers collaborated closely with Kate at different times. In 1978-79 Gered really set the template of early Bush official imagery also shooting the covers of her first two albums, The Kick Inside (US edition) and Lionheart. Guido met Kate later in 1982 while she was promoting The Dreaming. Impressed as she was with his photography of her mentor Lindsay Kemp, between 1985 and 1993 Kate summoned Guido for three major shoots to promote such landmark albums as Hounds Of Love, The Sensual World and The Red Shoes, including a virtually never before seen reportage on the set of her film The Line, The Cross & The Curve. Both photographers have chosen to exhibit their classic images as well as several outtakes or never before exhibited photographs.
