GUIDO HARARI'S "WALL OF SOUND" EXHIBITION OPENS IN PESARO ON JUNE 11

Grand opening on June 11 at Museo Nazionale Rossini in Pesaro, of Guido Harari's museum exhibition Wall Of Sound, with over 50 photographs taken over a period of 45 years, mostly unseen or never exhibited before. The show has been produced by Solares Fondazione delle Arti and will stay open until September 8. There will be portraits and concert photographs of such artists as David Bowie, Lou Reed, Frank Zappa, Kate Bush, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Peter Gabriel, Tom Waits, Joni Mitchell, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd

"ART KANE. HARLEM 1958" AT THE GRAMMY MUSEUM, LA, MAY 2ND!

Today it's International Jazz Day! Art Kane. Harlem 1958, our latest Wall Of Sound Editions book celebrating the 60th anniversary of the most iconic photo in the history of jazz, is going on the road again soon. Come join us for a terrific evening of photos and conversation with author Jonathan Kane, world class photographer, drummer and son of Art Kane, and jazz legend Benny Golson (with Sonny Rollins, the only living artist from the "Harlem 1958" group of legends). They will be presenting the book in conversation with Scott Goldman at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, on May 2nd, 7:30 PM. 

Also, on May 3rd, Jonathan Kane will be signing copies of the book at Morrison Hotel Gallery Sunset Marquis. Take this opportunity also to enjoy the iconic "Harlem 1958" photo in the "Jazz: The Birth of Cool" photo exhibition, which is currently running simultaneously in all three MHG galleries (New York, Los Angeles and Maui).

Don't forget that the book is also available as a Deluxe edition of only 200 copies worldwide, all signed by Quincy Jones, Benny Golson and Jonathan Kane, housed in a special slipcase with an exclusive signed/numbered fine art print and a commemorative poster

“FABRIZIO DE ANDRÉ. SGUARDI RANDAGI”, BOOK AND EXHIBITION IN ALBA, DECEMBER 1ST.

You are all invited on Saturday, December 1st, at 5:00pm, to the opening of the photo exhibition and booksigning of Guido Harari's Fabrizio De André. Sguardi randagi, with images of Fabrizio taken between 1979 and 1998. It will be a great opportunity to secure the Deluxe edition of the book, signed by Guido, Dori Ghezzi De André, Cristiano De André and Franz Di Cioccio.

New York! Join us with Jonathan Kane for a series of conversations and celebrations of his new book Art Kane. Harlem 1958 which marks the 60th anniversary of one of the most celebrated images in American history by one of the world’s greatest photographers. 

With forewords by Quincy Jones and the legendary Benny Golson, who appears in the photo, original text by Art Kane and Kane’s son, musician and photographer Jonathan Kane, the 168-page hardback volume is the story behind the shot. With over 130 photos, many presented for the very first time.

CRISTINA ARRIGONI'S "THE SOUND OF HANDS" EXHIBITION AT WALL OF SOUND GALLERY, OCTOBER 28.

Wall Of Sound Editions has just published The Sound of Hands, Cristina Arrigoni's beautiful book of portraits of musician's hands. Among these Johnny Winter, B.B. King, John Mayall, Jackson Browne, Willie Nile, Jimmy Pearl, Danny Clinch and many more. Cristina will soon be in Italy to launch the book with Guido Harari and Willie Nile, who will also take the opportunity to launch his latest album Children of Paradise, whose cover was shot by Cristina. Wall Of Sound Gallery is glad to present the exhibition of The Sound of Hands in Alba, from October 28. FRANK STEFANKO'S "SPRINGSTEEN. FURTHER UP THE ROAD" OPENS AT ONO IN BOLOGNA ON OCT. 18!

Now it's official! Frank Stefanko will attend the opening of the Bruce Springsteen. Further Up The Road exhibition on October 18th at ONO Arte Contemporanea, in Bologna. He will be there to greet you, tell stories about his 40 year long association with Bruce and personalize copies of his limited edition book. Our special friends Cristina Arrigoni and Willie Nile will join us to celebrate with words, images and songs. Cristina has her first major book out with Wall Of Sound Editions: it's called The Sound of Hands and features her mastery portraits of musicians' hands (Johnny Winter, John Mayall, BB King and many others). Cristina will be there to sign and personalize her book. Also, Willie has a dynamite new album out, Children of Paradise which features four beautiful portraits by Cristina on its cover. "ART KANE. HARLEM 1958", NEW BOOK FOR THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE HISTORIC PHOTO.

In November Wall Of Sound Editions will publish a new book, "Art Kane. Harlem 1958-The 60th Anniversary Edition", curated by Art Kane's son, Jonathan, with forewords by Quincy Jones and Benny Golson, one of the last two living jazz legends (with Sony Rollins) who appeared in the iconic photo, and a text by Art Kane. The book showcases for the very first time evry single frame from the photo shoot which Kane did in August 1958 for a special jazz issue of Esquire, which was to be published in January 1959. Many never seen before images are featured in the book, along with the colour jazz portraits that Kane shot for the same Esquire issue, on set photography for the film Pete Kelly's Blues, a reportage on Harlem Soul and a selection of images of a very young Aretha Franklin. The book is available both as a trade edition and a Deluxe edition of only 200 copies worldwide in a special box set. The Deluxe copies are signed and numbered by Quincy Jones, Benny Golson and Jonathan Kane, and include an exclusive signed Fine Art print and a celebratory poster.
