In 1969 Eric Clapton formed a band with Steve Winwood, Ric Grech and Ginger Baker. Bob Seidemann was asked to create the cover for their album. He photographed an 11-year old girl to create what became his most well-known image. Seidemann titled it Blind Faith which also became the name of the band. When the album was released in the USA the cover caused a controversy and an alternative cover was issued.
