Catalog of the unpublished all-female photographic exhibition, created by Guido Harari exclusively for the Locus Festival 2021 with an evocative outdoor setting, with strong red-gold hues, which unfolds on the walls of the historic center of Locorotondo. A transversal look, as is customary in Harari’s portraits, between genres, origins and generations of great “muses” of music. Among the forty portraits, mostly exhibited here for the first time, are Joni Mitchell, Tina Turner, Laurie Anderson, Kate Bush, Nina Simone, Patti Smith, Skin, Fatoumata Diawara, Loredana Berté, Sade, Marianne Faithfull, Joan Baez, Whitney Houston, Cesaria Evora, Annie Lennox, Debbie Harry, Tracy Chapman, Miriam Makeba, Mia Martini, Gianna Nannini, Siouxsie Sioux, Carmen Consoli, Sinéad O’Connor, Patty Pravo, Nina Hagen.
