{"id":1613,"date":"2015-05-04T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-05-04T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wallofsoundgallery.com\/2015\/05\/04\/an-exhibition-for-mia-martini-on-the-20th-anniversary-of-her-passing\/"},"modified":"2025-03-14T08:30:51","modified_gmt":"2025-03-14T08:30:51","slug":"an-exhibition-for-mia-martini-on-the-20th-anniversary-of-her-passing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wallofsoundgallery.com\/en\/an-exhibition-for-mia-martini-on-the-20th-anniversary-of-her-passing\/","title":{"rendered":"AN EXHIBITION FOR MIA MARTINI ON THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF HER PASSING, 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To tie in with the 20th anniversary of <strong><a href=\"\/en\/mia-martini-a67\">Mia Martini<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s passing, we are delighted to celebrate one of the greatest icons of Italian music with the historic photographs of <span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\"><strong><a href=\"\/en\/mauro-balletti-f28\">Mauro Balletti<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"\/en\/mimmo-dabbrescia-f27\">Mimmo Dabbrescia<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"\/en\/guido-harari-f7\">Guido Harari<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"\/en\/cesare-monti-f11\">Cesare Monti<\/a><\/strong> and <strong>Archivio Mia Martini<\/strong>. The exhibition, aptly named <strong>&#8220;Mia Martini. L&#8217;ultima occasione per vivere <em>(Last chance to live)<\/em>&#8220;,&nbsp;<\/strong>showcases images that have never been exhibited before, but have been featured in many cases on Mia&#8217;s most important album covers. On Sat. May 9th, from 4pm onwards, we&#8217;ll have the opening of the show and a booksigning of <em><strong>Mia Martini. L&rsquo;ultima occasione per vivere<\/strong><\/em>, edited by Menico Caroli and Guido Harari, published by TEA. All photographers (except Cesare Monti who passed away a few months ago) will attend the opening along with Mia&#8217;s father <strong>Giuseppe Bert&eacute;<\/strong>. It will be a truly unique opportunity to get to meet them and share memories and passions with them. The opening will continue from 9pm to 11pm as part of the &#8220;Notte bianca delle Librerie&#8221; in Alba.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.4;\">The exhibition will run till June 14th. For its whole duration the photographs on show will be available as signed and numbered fine art editions at a specially discounted price, including one image not featured in the show by every photographer. These extra images will be made available as 8x10in fine art prints, each in a special edition of just 10.
