Saturday June 17, 6pm, at the Fondazione Bottari Lattes, via Marconi 16, in Monforte d’Alba, as part of the “Cambi di stagione – Inside” series of events, Guido Harari will launch his WALL OF SOUND 10 exhibition, on the 10th anniversary of the successful installation with the same name, that turned the ancient center town of Monforte all blue. On show a selection of the original blue portraits printed on aluminum, as well as a wide selection of fine art printed portraits of such artists as David Bowie, Patti Smith, Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Peter Gabriel, Frank Zappa, Bob Marley, Jeff Buckley, Nick Cave, Kate Bush, BB King, Fabrizio De André, Giorgio Gaber, Vasco Rossi, Paolo Conte, Vinicio Capossela and many more. A special catalogue, published by Wall Of Sound Editions, featuring about 70 photographs, will be on sale at the venue. It will also be possible to order it via our website. WALL OF SOUND 10 will stay open until September 2nd.

A downsized version of WALL OF SOUND 10 will be on show in Turin, at Spazio Don Chisciotte, from October 26 to December 24, 2017.

With over 400 photos of Bruce Springsteen, mostly unseen or never published before, from Frank Stefanko’s extensive archives, Bruce Springsteen. Further up the Road is the most comprehensive overview of Frank’s collaboration of 40 years with Springsteen. Besides Frank’s classic and unseen photos of Springsteen, taken between 1978 for such historic albums as Darkness on the Edge of Town and The River, and 1982, at the time of the Nebraska album, Bruce Springsteen. Further up the Road will also feature two never before published photoshoots with Bruce, both at his house in Colts Neck, NJ. One is from 2004, around the time of the Devils & Dust album. The other was granted by Bruce to Frank in April 2017, especially for inclusion in this book.The book also features an introduction by Bruce Springsteen, forewords by fellow Springsteen photographers Danny Clinch and Eric Meola, and of course extensive insightful text by Frank.

Further up the Road is a limited edition of just 1978 copies worldwide, all signed by Frank, and published as a Deluxe (copies 1-350) and a Collector edfitions (copies 351-1978).  The hard-bound book has 368 pages plus 20 inserts and measures an awesome 25,5 x 33,5cm (10,5 x 13,5in). “THE KATE INSIDE” SHOW FINALLY AT WALL OF SOUND, 2017

We’re ready to roll again! Guido Harari‘s The Kate Inside exhibition is finally coming to Wall Of Sound Gallery, where the limited edition book project took off two years ago. The show will be essentially the same as exhibited last September in London, at the Art Bermondsey Project Space. It will feature a selection of Guido’s classic and unseen photographs of Kate Bush during their collaboration between 1982 and 1993. These photos are all featured in Guido’s The Kate Inside limited edition book which will be available for purchase at the gallery.

The opening is scheduled for Saturday February 11, 3:30pm, and the show will run until March 26. It will be another great opportunity to appreciate Guido’s big prints, browse the limited edition book, check the show catalogue, the beautiful signed/numbered posters and the special print set. Guido will be delighted to welcome you and have a chat.

Lindsay Kemp, who co-signed the Deluxe edition of the book and joined us for the London opening, will be touring Spain, so he won’t be able to attend the new opening. But we are working on a special event with him sometime in March. We will keep you posted on this.

Just three weeks after the release of his 14th album You Want It Darker, the great Canadian poet and singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen suddenly passed away. He was 82. Since the 50’s Cohen published a great deal of poetry books and novels. It was only in 1967 that he launched a music career at age 33. Among his most famous and most covered songs are Bird on the Wire, Suzanne, Famous Blue Raincoat, Chelsea Hotel #2, and Hallelujah. He was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He was a Companion of the Order of Canada, the nation’s highest civilian honor. In 2011, Cohen received one of the Prince of Asturias Awards for literature and the ninth Glenn Gould Prize.

Rejoice! Bob Dylan wins the Nobel prixe in literature 2016 “for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition”! A long way from the early beginnings when he first moved to New York City in 1962. The American photographer Joe Alper captured his blossoming talent in so many candid portraits that Wall Of Sound Gallery presented in the 2014 Dylan before Dylan exhibition.

Everything is ready for the opening of The Kate Inside, Guido Harari‘s exhibition of his photographs of Kate Bush at the Art Bermondsey Project Space, in London. The show will run from Sept. 13 to 30 and will be launched with an artist reception on Sept. 14 and a special Q&A with Guido and Lindsay Kemp on Sept. 16 at the Underdog Gallery, close to the Project Space. On Sept. 17 there will also be a “meet & greet” for book subscribers with Guido and Lindsay Kemp. Meanwhile we are receiving the first copies of the limited edition book and will be shipping them soon on a daily basis, in chronological order.

Guido Harari‘s “Wall Of Sound” exhibition will open tonight at the celebrated Rockheim (National Museum of Popular Music) in Trondheim, Norway. This is Guido’s first international museum show of his music photography. It features more than 70 photographs from all of his “career”, with many unseen or never exhibited before. Images include such artists as Bob Dylan, George Harrison, David Bowie, Prince, Bob Marley, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, Frank Zappa, Tom Waits, Patti Smith, The Rolling Stones, Queen, The Kinks, The Police, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell, David Crosby, Leonard Cohen, B.B.
