Bob Dylan, Rita Levi-Montalcini, Patti Smith, Gianni Agnelli, David Bowie, Dario Fo, Umberto Eco, Tom Waits, Josè Saramago, Fabrizio De André, Ennio Morricone, Vasco Rossi, Giorgio Armani, are only a handful of celebrities that Harari has photographed during his long career, which is now being celebrated by a huge retrospective exhibition which was premiered on June 1st at the Mole in Ancona, where it will stay until October 9. Book and exhibition sum up every phase of Harari’s eclectic career: from his beginnings in the early Seventies as music photographer and journalist, to the countless portraits of major artists and personalities of his time, which established his reputation in editorial, advertising, fashion and reportage photography.
